Give me hope to stand, lead me to the highest rock. It’s Your love, at the cross, You gave it all.

Hottest summer.

We are back!

It was pretty awesome albeit the (almost) killing weather. Not exactly a place for much shopping but rather fulfilling for those who are into appreciating culture and historical relics. I think.. I’m somewhere in between. Haha.

Suffering from post trip syndrome now, as usual.

Ah, I miss my omelette breakfast, beef noodles, beef stew, butter squid and banana shake!!!

It is not easy to serve the children’s ministry.

It takes a great deal of energy to keep yourself constantly hyped up talking to them and engaging them, being excited and enthusiastic with them to keep up with their high energy levels, entertain their endless “whys”, ”why nots”, ”can we..” etc. Not forgetting to mention, if you have a bunch of hyperactive children, you have to keep shouting and chasing after them.

Then, when parents come along with you on the bus and decides to erm, take charge on their own accord and give you a hand to handle the children and leaves you feeling uncomfortable and all other little accidents that come along..

After all these big day events, I never fail to return home with aching muscles. Gotta admit, I’m growing old!

Well, and not forgetting all the long roads and streets you walk every week to visit under the hot sweltering sun even though you might have had a long tiring week.

But you know what? Yes, I’m enjoying it.

The smiles, the laughter, the hugs and the joy you get in return is really incomparable to everything else. It just brings that warm fuzzy feeling to your heart and makes you go feeling happy with them too. Knowing that deep inside, if you could just make a difference to just one child, that’d mean a whole lot to you.

I really pray that in tougher times to come, I will never lose the joy of my calling.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11

Almost half of 2012 is gone. Since this is the year of relationship and discipleship, like what Dr Robi preached, sanctify yourselves before the Lord, and He will give you all the desires of your heart. We are all built to connect. Grow in our relationships such that we will be willing to lay down our lives for each other.

I’ve always believed that in your lifetime, if you never did stupid things; then when you are grow up, you have nothing to look back laugh out loud about. Isn’t it amazing just to reminisce the past and laugh at all the silly things you did in your adolescent days?
Thank you guys for being part of my memorable 4 years in secondary school. (Of course, you guys make up the amazing part.)
Even though we hardly meet, but you guys will always hold a special place in my heart. :)

Meet me halfway;

This is how my April and May had been like: mostly studying for exams. Now that exams are over, life seems even busier, but rather fulfilling. Met up with old friends I haven’t met in years, tried good food, and of course what makes me happy is that I’m finally back to serving! :) I think there is so much more I can do.

After the sessions by Dr Robi, I really feel so empowered now and especially after last night’s session, God really touched my heart so deeply. I really cannot describe how I am feeling now. Filled with so much emotions, thoughts and visions.

Oh God, lead me where you want me to go. Not mine, but Your will be done.
